日本代表を体感できる新モード「ニッポンチャレンジ-Go for 2006-」を搭載した『ワールドサッカーウイニングイレブン 9』！ 世界一を目指し、インターナショナルカップを予選から勝ち抜く日本代表専用のチャレンジモードです。試合毎のベンチメンバー入替機能や専用の実況など、他のモードとは違う演出が多数用意されており、熱狂度も満点。

Jリーグ版初となる57ヶ国のナショナルチームを搭載した『J.league Winning Eleven 9 Asia Championship』。 Jリーグクラブvsナショナルチームの親善試合といった対戦カードも可能に！さらに「ニッポンチャレンジ」では、約800名のJリーガーから自由に日本代表を選抜することが可能になり、遊びの幅がよりいっそう拡がります！
