1981年9月4日生まれ。テキサス州ヒューストン出身。子供の頃はとてもシャイだったが、学校の授業の一環でステージに立ったときに、母親でさえ「あの子は私の娘かしら？」と思うくらい、物怖じしないステージ上の人格を発揮していたという、天性のエンターテイナー。ソロ・リリースは自身の主演映画『オースティン･パワーズ ゴールドメンバー』の主題歌「Work It Out」（2002年）からスタート。2003年6月にデスチャ・ソロ･プロジェクトのトリを飾るアルバム「Dangerously In Love」で全米シングルチャート計17週間1位を独占！アルバムももちろんチャート1位、800万枚のセールスをあげ、2004年2月のグラミー賞ではその年最多の5部門受賞で、名実共にトップ・アーティストとなった。その後は映画『Fighting Temptations』（2003年）、『Pink Panther』（2005年夏公開予定）に出演、新作フレグランス"true star"のイメージ・キャラクター、ペプシCMキャラクター、サマンサタバサのプロモーション･モデル、自身のクロージング・ライン展開...と今やその人気は留まることを知らない！！
■ Kelly Rowland
1981年2月11日生まれ。ジョージア州アトランタ出身。幼い頃にヒューストンに移住し、Beyonceと運命の出会いを果たす。その頃からBeyonceとグループで活動し、Beyonceの言えに共に住み、まさにBeyonceとは姉妹のように育った。Michelleに続きデスチャ・ソロ・プロジェクトの第二弾「Simply Deep」を2003年1月にリリース。先行シングルのNellyとの共演ナンバー"Dilemma"は全米シングル・チャート10週連続1位を記録する大ヒットとなり、ソロとしてのグラミー賞ももたらした。音楽面以外ではBeyonce同様、女優活動を始めており、全米1位を記録したホラー映画『フレディ vs ジェイソン』（2003年）に出演。初主演作となるロマンティック・コメディ"Seat Filler（原題）"も全米公開を控えている。そして私生活ではNFLダラス・カウボーイのロイ・ウィリアムス選手と2004年5月婚約で、ケリーは公私共に絶好調！
■ Michelle Williams
1979年7月23日生まれ。イリノイ州ロックフォード出身。幼い頃から教会の聖歌隊で鍛えた喉で、抜群の歌唱力を誇るMichelle。Destiny's Child加入前はMonicaのバック･グラウンド･ヴォーカルとしても活躍していた。2000年2月の"Say My Name"以降グループに参加してからは、そのハスキーでソウルフルな声がハーモニーに深みを加え、今ではMichelleなしのDesitiny's Childは考えられないほど。2002年4月にデスチャの中では最初のソロ・プロジェクト、「Hearts To Yours」をリリース。本人のルーツに戻ったというコンテンポラリー・ゴスペル・アルバムを作り上げ、見事ゴスペル・チャート1位に輝いた。その後も2004年1月には早くもセカンド･ソロ･アルバム「Do You Know」をリリース。その傍らでToni Braxtonの後継者としてブロードウェイ・ミュージカル『アイーダ』の主演を務めるなど、本格派アーティストとして成長を遂げている。
