ザ･ゴッドファーザー・オブ・ラティーノ・ヒップホップ、Frost新作が日本盤で...！

チカーノ・ラップのパイオニア、元Kid Frost、現FrostことArturo Molina, Jr.！！今年の5月で御歳40歳！!そうさ、もう立派なオッサンさ！しかし彼こそ「ザ･ゴッドファーザー・オブ・ラティーノ・ヒップホップ」！Ice TにKid Frostと名づけてもらってから幾年月、長いことシーンを牽引してきた重要人物なのは周知の通り！さあ、君もリスペクトの意味を込めFrostと一緒にLAのハンド・サインだ（ロス出身じゃないけど...）！！！90年には「Hispanic Causing Panic」、92年には「East Side Story」とメジャーのヴァージンからアルバムを発表し、Mellow Man Ace、ALT、Markski、Ray Ski等に加えて大御所バンドのWarが参加したこともあるLatin Allianceの91年のアルバムからは"Low Rider (On The Boulevard)"がラップ・チャートの15位に食い込んだこともあったっけ。おっと97年の人気盤「When Hell. A. Freezes Over」や重要アイテム「That Was Then, This Is Now」も忘れちゃいかんよ。...ってFrostの場合、駄作なんてほぼナッシング！
最近、ウェッサイ⇒チカーノ・ブームでFrostの凄さがようやくヒップホップ・リスナー以外にも知られるようになり、「When〜」からのベスト・トラックを集めた「Greatest Joints Dos」が昨年リリース！また最近の若者には、Baby BashのユニットLatino Velvetのメンバーとしてのほうがわかりやすいんでしょうか?
そんな哀愁メロウ王、Frostが新作「Big Bad Ballers Nation Los Angeles」を日本独占企画盤としてリリース！！おおグレイト！!今回の参加メンバーは、 Slow PainとALTのユニットG' Fellasで知られるNino B、ご存知Latino VelvetのDon Ciscoらのほか、Baby Bashと共演したこともあるFade DoggやDavid Wade、さらにWeetoやShystiといった新人（？）らも参加。さらにさらに、日本とアメリカでローライダーをレペゼンする者同士がガッつりとコラボレーションした感動の名曲"Keep it Movin' "でFrostをフィーチャーしたことのある“ヨコハマ”のベテラン・ラップ・グループDS455も参加デスぞ！これは買いでしょう！！
