Stingの息子Joe Summe率いるFiction Planeがメジャー・デビュー！

あのStingの息子Joe Summerがフロントマンを努めるバンドとして知らるFiction PlaneがアルバムEverything Will Never Be Okで遂にメジャー・デビューすることが決定した。Fiction Planeはポップス界の大御所となりつつあるStingの息子Joe Summer(Vo,G)がDan Brown(B)とSeton Daunt(G)とロンドンで結成した3ピース・バンド。現在は活動の拠点をニューヨークに移し3年間インディーズでリリースしたり数多くのライヴを精力的に行い腕を磨いてきた。（元々は「Santa's Boyfriend」という名前で4人組だったが最近「Fiction Plane」に改名）
今年に入りDavid Kahne（Sublime、Sugar Rayを手掛ける）をプロデューサーに迎えレコーディングを開始、最近ではPaul Mccartneyのツアーに参加しているAbe Laboriel.Jrが前面にゲスト参加をしてバック・アップしている。
顔だけでなく声もそっくりな歌声はSting meets Bonoといった感じだ。サウンドのほうも初期本格派なロック・サウンドを聴かせており将来に期待のできるバンドだろう。
