"Shining Star" by KOJI 1200 (Koji Imada), produced by TOWA TEI and with lyrics by Otoha (Kyoka　Suzuki), will be released on 7-inch vinyl!

KOJI 1200 is a music project by Koji Imada produced by TOWA TEI, and released the single "Now Romantic" in 1995. In 1996, they released their first album "America Daisuki!" In 2014, Like a record round! round! round!, a unit consisting of Takashi Fujii, Tsubaki Oniyakko, and Razor Ramon RG, covered "Now Romantic" with an arrangement by tofubeats, which became a hot topic. In August 2024, "Shining Star" was included in the luxurious CD box "SLENDERIE RECORD 10YEARS 10SINGLES", which contains 10 singles and was released to commemorate the 10th anniversary of SLENDERIE RECORD, a music label founded by Fujii Takashi. "Shining Star" was included as KOJI 1200's first new single in 28 years. KOJI 1200 made a surprise appearance at the "SLENDERIE RECORD 10th ANNIVERSARY MUSIC AWARD 2024" held at the Hulic Hall Tokyo on July 27th, performing the song surrounded by tofubeats as a backing DJ, Fujii Takashi as a chorus, and SLENDERIE RECORD label mates.

Like a Record round! round! round! is a unit formed by Takashi Fujii, Tsubaki Oniyakko, and Razor Ramon RG that was born from an event where they simply sang Western music from the 80s and 90s. In 2014, they digitally released a cover of KOJI 1200's "Now Romantic".
In November of the same year, they released the single "Kappo!". Since then, they have been active mainly performing at events such as Loft Plus One and SLENDERIE RECORD. In July 2024, their first single in 10 years, "Hon g Shin g," produced by Hidefumi Kenmochi, was included in "SLENDERIE RECORD 10YEARS 10SINGLES" and was first performed at the "SLENDERIE RECORD 10th ANNIVERSARY MUSIC AWARD 2024" held at the Hulic Hall Tokyo on July 27th.
