CLEAR TONE (SP-558)

STAT- BAN (SP-562)
Like CLEAR TONE, it has both a cleaning effect and a static electricity suppression effect.
The antistatic effect is stronger than CLEAR TONE, so after spraying STAT- BAN, you only need to dry wipe it off with ARJANTO two or three times.
STAT- BAN (SP-562)

CLEANUP (SP-601)
In addition to cleaning and antistatic effects, it also contains anti-mold ingredients. Ideal for cleaning before storage.
CLEANUP (SP-601)

*After spraying with any spray, wipe it with ARJANTO.
ARJANTO (CL120)

When mold growth on the vinyl.
Depending on each vinyl condition, it will be impossible to completely remove it, but cleaning is possible by the following method.
Wash with water vinyl using a label protector and CLEAR TONE WATER set and clean several times, play it by 45rpm and scrape out mold from the sound groove with the stylus.
Please note that excessive cleaning may damage the vinyl.
However, if mold remains even a little, it will recur, so once it occurs, it will be difficult to remove it completely.
Since the CLEANUP (SP-601) contains antifungal components, please use this product to manage the humidity of the storage and store it so that mold does not occur regularly.
※ The ingredients blended in the CLEANUP (SP-601) are just antifungal ingredients, therefore it is not a component that removes mold once generated.

In addition, please do not insert the vinyl to the cover and inner sleeve that once mold occurred.
The mold will occur on the vinyl when you use same cover or inner sleeve again even though you remove the mold and clean the vinyl.
When replacing the inner bag, we sell " CONTAINS 50 STAT DISK FILES (RS-LP2)", so please use this.

Which part are the “Headshell”, “Cartridge”, and “Replacement stylus”?
・”Headshell” can insert into the tone arm and screwed by turning the lock nut with your fingers, so it can be attached and detached without tools.
If your turntable is a removable, you can easily replace the cartridge with a head shell without having to fix the screws with a screwdriver or wire the lead wires with pliers.
*Some players have an integrated head shell and tonearm.

A "cartridge" is a plastic or metal box-shaped part to which a replacement stylus is attached.
A "cartridge" has a built-in mechanism that generates electricity from the vibrations of the stylus and cartridge and converts the vibrations into electrical signals, which can be used by inserting replacement stylus.
There are two main types: MM (moving magnet) type and MC (moving coil) type.
It is fixed to the head shell with two flat head screws and connected with four lead wires.
This replacement method is common except for some products with non-removable cartridges, so you can choose your favorite cartridge based on sound quality and replace it.
*Please note that some cartridges have a structure in which screws are inserted from below, or cartridges with integrated bolts, and the head shell may need to be replaced because they cannot be fixed due to their structure.

"Replacement stylus " refers to the plastic part (knob) to which the stylus and cantilever are attached.
We call the plastic frame-like part called the "knob" that is integrated with the cantilever (silver metal rod) to which the stylus is attached and fixed with a damper rubber a "replacement stylus."
This is inserted into the cartridge and can be inserted and removed without the need for tools. When replacing the stylus, remove this and replace it.
If you are not sure which part to remove, please take a look at the purchased replacement stylus and you will be able to figure out which part to remove it from.
*Please note that the cantilever (silver metal bar) is not replaced by pulling it out.
*For some cartridges such as the MC (Moving Coil) type, the cantilever and cartridge are connected by a coil and are integrated, so the replacement stylus cannot be attached or detached.
Additionally, some turntable and cartridges use replacement stylus called Ronette stylus.

This is used by fixing the Y-shaped part with screws.

Do I need to clean the stylus tip and how do I clean it?
Please clean using Nagaoka HIGH CLEAN (AM-801/2).
Dirt from the sound groove of the vinyl sticks to the tip of the vinyl stylus.
If this dirt is left to clean, it will shorten the life of the stylus and cause damage to the vinyl, so please clean it regularly.
Using “HI-CLEAN (AM-801/2)”, gently wipe away dirt from the tip of the stylus with a brush, and then use cleaning liquid to remove dirt from the brush.

HI-CLEAN (AM-801/2)

The pressure that the stylus tip exerts on the vinyl is equivalent to several tons when converted to 1㎤, and the frictional heat causes the stylus tip to reach a high temperature of nearly 800 degrees (according to research by Nagaoka).
This prevents dust and dirt from sticking to the stylus tip, so always keep the stylus tip clean.

How long does a vinyl record stylus last?
There may be differences by each usage environment. The following below is a guideline.

・Diamond stylus: Approximately 200 hours
・Sapphire stylus: Approximately 15 hours

The stylus gradually wears out when vinyl plays.
Using a worn-out vinyl stylus can cause skipping, poor tracing, and damage to the vinyl, so we recommend replacing the stylus regularly.
