【ストーリー】
1953年、スターリン政権下のソ連で、子供たちの変死体が次々と発見される。その死体には多くの共通点があるが、“殺人は国家が掲げる思想に反する”ため、すべて事故として処理される。秘密警察の捜査官レオは親友の息子の死をきっかけに、事件解明に乗り出す。捜査が進むほどに、国家に行く手を阻まれ、さらに、愛する妻にも不当な容疑が。真実が歪められるこの国で、レオは真犯人に辿り着けるのか―？
