ゲーム「シュタインズ・ゲート」他、科学ADVシリーズのシナリオライター・林直孝が初の原作・脚本を手掛けるオリジナルアニメーション。キャラクター原案にメカ×美少女が得意なイラストレーター：okiura(「IS」)を迎え、アニメを制作をするのは、監督：藤原佳幸(「GJ部」「未確認で進行形」)、スタジオ：動画工房(「ゆるゆり」)、キャラクターデザイン：中島千明(「ゆるゆり」)と美少女の描写に定評のあるスタッフ陣。 描かれるのは、アンドロイドの少女をめぐる運命の出会い、そして…。

【STORY】
現代より少し科学が進んだ世界。18歳の“水柿ツカサ”は、大学受験に失敗したものの、親のツテのおかげで 世界的な大企業ＳＡＩ社で働くことになった。 SAI社は、心を持った人型のアンドロイド、通称『ギフティア』を製造・管理する企業で、 ツカサはその中でも、ターミナルサービスという部署に配属される。 だがそこは、寿命を迎えるギフティアを回収するのが業務という、いわゆる窓際部署。 しかもツカサは、お茶汲み係をしているギフティアの少女“アイラ”とコンビを組んで仕事をすることになってしまう…。
