『春の祭典』の迫力あるピアノ独奏版の登場！

『春の祭典』のピアノ・ヴァージョンはソロから5台ピアノまで賑やかな状況ですが、今回登場するのは独奏版です。作曲者が遺したのはピアノ4手版のみですが、プルーデルマッハー、ダグ・アシャツ、ファジル・サイ、ヴラディーミル・レーチキスなど腕に覚えのある人々により、すでにいろいろなヴァージョンがリリースされて話題にもなってました。
今回の録音で使用されているのはサム・ラフリングによる独奏版で、すでにアタミアンによる1980年の録音もあったというものです。 このラフリング版は迫力のあることでも知られているので、33年を経ての新録音の登場は歓迎されるところです。
演奏のエリック・フェラン＝エンカウア（エンカワとも）は、フランス生まれのピアニスト。ジャズの分野でも実績のある人物なので、ここでもアタミアン盤とはまた違った魅力を示してくれるものと思われます。
組み合わせは、ラヴェル『ラ・ヴァルス』とガーシュウィン『ラプソディ・イン・ブルー』のピアノ独奏版、そしてガーシュウィンの3つのプレリュードで、こちらも楽しみなところです。（ＨＭＶ）
