【ストーリー】
舞台は大島。天真爛漫な14歳の少女・一色あかねは発明家の祖父としっかり者の妹と貧しくも、温かな毎日を送っていた。海の向こうに臨める人工島ブルーアイランド。
その中央にそびえ立つのが、世界中のエネルギー問題を解決した画期的な発明“示現エンジン”。
それはみんなが夢見た、平和な未来。誰もが笑える幸せな日々―――。
しかし、世界を突然、危機を襲う。示現エンジンを狙って現れた謎の敵・アローン。
どんな兵器も通用しない絶望的な状況に、大きな力を秘めた赤いスーツ“パレットスーツ”を着た１人の少女が立ちあがる―――。
そして少女のもとに集まる仲間たち。
彼女たちの友情こそが、世界を救うたった一つの希望なのだ。
