I absolutely love this album!
It ranks up there with ”Butterfly” as one of her best albums.
Sure on 1st l;isten this might be quite slow and monotonus
But on repeat listening you will realised how great this album this.
Her vocals are sublime and at her most emotive ever!
Sure she doesn’t perform those vocal gymnastics that often anymore but they are still there in songs like ”I Want to Know What Love Is” and ”Angels Cry”
The opening number ”Betcha Goin’ Know” is very indicative of the tone of the album and is the perfect starter for this album!
One of the best tracks here!
other stand out tracks include ”HATEU’, ”Languishing”, ’More than Just Friends” and obviously ”Obsessed”
