I bought this CD along with Departure, the other Samurai Champloo soundtrack. I have to say this is also one of my top favourte music CDs ever. A must for the anime fan as well as those who enjoy cool, jazzy music. Highly enjoyable.

This is a wonderful little soundtrack that can stand on its own even if you’ve not watched the movie. The 80s original compositions are campy and cute and the variety in songs styles are very enjoyable. I watched the movie after listening to the OST and enjoyed it even more after that. Recommended!

This soundtrack of the classic’s anime adaptation has a calming effect on my nerves. The music is mainly performed with classical and traditional instruments, as well as some electronica mixes. Most of the pieces are dreamy, soothing and romantic. There were a couple of more dramatic pieces in the soundtrack but they flow very well with the other softer tracks. Best consumed when your heart and mind needs to be gently held in a loving embrace :) This summarised review was first posted at my bl
This album is a must-have for all Miyano Mamoru fans. It contains a good mix of fast and slow numbers that are very suitable for Miyano Mamoru’s already lovely vocals. The tracks flow well one after another and the album is very enjoyable to listen to over and over again! Highly recommended! Order soon and you might still be able receive a poster!
This is by far my favourite soundtrack from the Final Fantasy series after all these years. I enjoyed the movie very much and this soundtrack is an awesome companion for me to relive the awesome visuals in my mind. I think people who have not watched the movie would also enjoy this soundtrack on its own.
