    これこそが最高の名演と言うべきものでしょう。特に交響曲第5番の第3楽章では、プレヴィンの作品に対する愛情が痛いほど伝わってきます。そのようなこともあって、もう20年以上も愛聴する、特別なディスクとなっています。

    まずは文句ない出来栄え。 だが、70年代の全集の二番煎じに終わって しまい位置づけが不明確。 録音の必然性が感じられない。
