    ヴィオラ協奏曲や交響曲2番はウォルトンの作品の中でも発売は多くないのですが、美しい憂鬱さとそれに対応する活発さを体験できる佳曲と考えています。このＣＤは標準以上の演奏で、ウォルトン作品のなかの渋い2曲を組み合わせた良いカップリングと思います。
