Warner Japan seems to have taken great care in the appearance of this reissue, but the sound reminds me of those awfully compressed CD versions they put out maybe 20 years ago or so. I assumed when the description said a 24/192 source was used that obviously it would be digital, but hopefully a fresh transfer. This sounds very compressed. I suspect little or no effort was made to provide a quality sounding product. Whatever the last mastering was for CD was probably just recycled here. This is not an analog sounding release. Vinyl is back. Get it right.
