This CARAVELLI second ILD CD production includes his albums #2 ＆ 5. In this early stage of his career,, CLAUDE VASORI already obtained his distinctive strings sound, which is perfectly recognizable, as it would be years later with the addition of female wordless voices blend. The beautiful arrangements based on hisViolons Magiques, includes flutes, trumpets, trombones, and accordion, piano, harpsichord and harp in some songs. The rhythm arrangements are varied, making the whole selection really enjoyable. Some tracks includes bongos timpani and Latin percussion. Two Pop French adaptations are included here： #11 LOIN , based on Greensleaves (therefore CARAVELLI first version), and #23 TOUT LE BONHEUR DU MONDE, based on Albinoni’s Adagio. This CD mastering is clear, transparent and warm in tone. We’re waiting for more ILD CARAVELLI releases on these recordings made more than 50 years ago, according SONY no interest in such reissues.
