    アメリカ音楽のなかでもグランドキャニオンはあまりにも知名度が高いのですが、他のグローフェ作品と比べてやはり一段と素晴らしいと思います。第一曲の夜明け、第5曲の嵐（雷雨）の描写などは、気分を高揚させてくれて実用的でもあります。
