ジャムバンド、SOULIVEの全編ビートルズカヴァー作品。ジャズファンクほど激しくなくフュージョンほど軽くなく、オルガンが妙に懐かしさを感じさせグルーヴィーさも兼ね備えた１枚

This album is excellent! Soulive has created another classic album and done The Beatles’ music great justice all at the same time. Their instrumental renditions of these classic tunes are fresh and spunky, while still remaining true to the original. I broke down and ordered a copy from Japan as they’ve been slow to give it a proper release here in the States, but I’m glad I did! The Japanese really know how to package a disc! It’s designed like a mini vinyl reproduction, complete with gate-fold, non-scratch sleeve for the disc, Rubber Soulive sticker, and the bonus track ”She Came In Through The Bathroom Window”! I wish things were done this way over here! Packaging aside though, this is a terrific album. Any Soulive or Beatles fan owes it to themselves to pick this up, and If you’re unaware of either, grab it anyway, it’s great to listen to!

このアルバム、少々録音に問題あるように思いますがどうでしょう。ＰＣ試聴では分からないのですがステレオで聴くと・・・素人判断的には録音レベルが高すぎる感じ。特にドラムスのハイハット音などかなり歪んでるし、オルガンのフットベース音にも締まりがない。全体に広がり感に乏しいサウンドで、演奏内容が良いだけに惜しい！本当に惜しいです。
