グラハム復帰作らしいが、グラハムが歌ってさえすればギタリストなんてどうでもいい自分には、前作以上にいい出来。なぜって、見事にレインボーそのままだから。�Cなんて、あまりに露骨過ぎて最高！元々ハイレベルなものを真似てるわけだから、ハイレベルな偽物が出来て当然という理屈。もう変なオリジナリティなど出さず、このパクリ路線をひたすら突き進めば、もっと人気が出たこと間違いないのにね！

いまいちの出来。せっかくのよいヴォーカルなのに曲が魅力不足。疾走感がない。クリスのギターソロも控えめだし。かっこいい曲を書いてると思うが、昔からのインペリテリファンにはうけにくいと思う。

System X features a rusty sledgehammer/slightly disgruntled Impellitteri sound. Fiery, irascible, vindictive lyrics abound, and for good reason, the songs are responses to many controversial, emotional subjects, from 9-11, to corrupt justice, racism, macabre violence, and raw animalistic emotion.
