It’s wonderful what this label has done, researched and made performing editions Wanhal’s music, and then to bring them to live in concerts and recordings. The performances are traditional (i.e. not period instruments). The recorded sound is very good, but the horn players have a difficult time with some of the higher notes, and the tempi are a bit slow. But again, this achievement is astonishing -- something that even Naxos hasn’t done!
