I would have given this movie 10 stars if it doesn’t always make me cry. I can’t help crying when I watch this movie because it is a true story and it is very touching to know that a dog can be so faithful and good.0 people agree with this review

Thiis is a true story about love and loyalty, and is very touching. I wonder why this movie hasn’t been released on DVD, as it is certainly one of the finest I’ve ever watched. Have a box of tissues ready.0 people agree with this review

This is one of the best movies I’ve watched, even though it does make me cry a little every time I watch it. The plot is based on a true story of a loyal and devoted Akita dog named Hachiko. His owner was a professor at the imperial university. They loved each other very much, and for the first two years of his life, Hachiko would walk the Professor to Shibuya station every morning, then return home, and in the evening Hachiko would return to the train station to wait for the Professor to come home.
