別の某国内T社から1000円で出ていたものと比べて、実に厚みのある音質に改善されている。以前は端正だが地味な演奏のように感じていたがこの盤を聴いて印象が大きく変わった。このVividな壮麗さが元のアナログ盤のものなら、以前のT社盤は「安かろう悪かろう」以外の何者でもない。このキング盤は1800円では割高感が否めないが、この演奏の真価が初めて分かったような気がする。

Good This is an extremely well played and recorded version with steady speeds and nothing really to criticise and if this is beginning to sound like a case of ”damning with faint praise” it is not intended to.There is much to enjoy not least the playing of the marvellous Staatskapelle Dresden but for my taste the conducting of Herbert Blomstedt seems sound rather than inspired.There are,I think,better versions out there,but if the price suits,as I have already said,there is much to enjoy
