優秀録音だが、この曲には耽美的な歌を欲する私としては第３楽章が全く美しくなくつまらなかった。詠嘆の抉り具合も浅いし、私には全体的にツメがきつ過ぎて楽しめない。ただしボニーの美声はやはり凄い。録音芸術としての価値はやはり高いものだと思うが個人的にどうしても好きになれなかった。

This Japanese pressing seems to have a wider stereo spread compared to the uk pressing I have, making it easier to ”place”the orchestration.It is indeed a beautiful recording with every episode flowing easily into the next with no disruption.It is a version I could quite happily live with.I do,however,find myself wondering whether Mahler should sound quite so easygoing and comfortable with no rough edges.Should it,perhaps sound a little more neurotic??.No matter,it is still a marvellous disc

　シャイー・マーラーの中で、最も聴く回数の多いのが、この４番。そんなに構えなくても、気軽に美音に浸れます。時間の無いとき、最終楽章まで聴けなくても、ストレスになりにくい、２番や３番はジックリ聴きたいですからねー。 　あと、録音が良いので、オーディオチェック用にも、良いと思います。出だしの鈴の音が･･･シャンシャンシャンシャン･･･

気に入りました。「最高」です。音楽的に立体感があり、シャイーはオケを完全に掌握している。ボニーの歌声は実に甘美である。
