LOVE ON THE ROCKS is one of Julie’s finest albums. With lush arrangements by Pete King, Julie glides through great ballads like ”Guess Who I Saw Today?”, ”Where Did the Gentleman Go?” and ”Man That Got Away”. JULIE is one of her earlier efforts where she is back by a small jazz group led by Jimmy Rowles. A great pairing.
