This must,I think, be one of the best recordings of the ”four last songs” that I have heard.Beautifully sung and peceptively accompanied by the marvellous SKD and Sinopoli,aided by a well balanced and natural recording,coupled with equally beautifully sung accounts of the Wagner items on the disc make this a highly recommendable recording
