There’s no question the music within this box is, for the most part, peerless. The Who were (are, if you count the surviving version) one of rock’s finest groups, punching out classic after classic. The problem is the price tag. Who can fork out this much in a single purchase? It would be far better to have the releases staggered over a few months, as Toshiba EMI did with the Bowie albums.
