Flamenco Sketches

The third installment of the popular compilation series themed “The Marriage of Fragrance and Music,” curated and supervised by Toru Hashimoto (SUBURBIA), with artwork by Jiro Fujita (FJD) and mastering by Calm, titled “Incense Music for Dining Room,” will be released as a 7-inch record!

■A 7-inch single cut from the third volume of the compilation series "Incense Music" "Incense Music for Dining Room", which is selected and supervised by Toru Hashimoto, artwork by Jiro Fujita, and mastered by Calm, a top Japanese artist in the jazz, chill-out, and Balearic scenes!

■Coupled with two great cover versions of Miles Davis' masterpiece "Flamenco Sketches" by Nobuyuki Nakajima, a composer/pianist active in various fields such as film music, jazz, pop, advertising music, and classical music, and currently based in Paris and known as a world-famous musician. Side A contains a new remix of "Flamenco Sketches" created by DJ Mitsu the Beats for this compilation, which is a wonderful DJ-style work that reconstructs Nobuyuki Nakajima's original song by adding beats. Side AA features the original version by Nakajima Nobuyuki, which was produced and well received for the compilation album "Sunset Chillout Breeze" released in 2024, which features songs selected by Toru Hashimoto and is themed around chilling out at dusk.

■The compilation CD "Incense Music for Dining Room" to be released on April 23, is the third installment in the ultimate lifestyle compilation series. It proposes ambient, jazz, chillout, Balearic, post-classical, jazzy, and mellow beats from both domestic and international artists as music for a comfortable life. The album compiles soothing music perfect for relaxing in the dining room. Additionally, a 7-inch record, including other new recordings featured on this album, is also set to be released.
