The LP of the cool and mellow compilation "Sunset Chillout Breeze", which selects special comfortable music that makes you feel a pleasant breeze while chilling out at dusk, will be released on Wednesday, October 30, 2024!

Toru Hashimoto (SUBURBIA) has supervised over 350 compilations to date, including the "Free Soul", "Cafe Apres-midi", "Mellow Beats", "Good Mellows", "Jazz Supreme", "Scenery with Music", and "Incense Music" series, and has been providing music listeners with a guide as a music selector since the 1990s.

Based at Shibuya's "Cafe Apres-midi", he has gained tremendous support for his various music proposals that still color everyday life, and his new compilation series "Chillout Breeze", which celebrates the 30th anniversary of his compiler life, will start in July 2024.

His partner is graphic designer FJD, also known as Jiro Fujita, who has created artwork for numerous music works. His design works can be seen all over Tokyo, from jazzy and mellow beats works by Nujabes, to works by artists such as Calm, Fujiwara Sakura, and Kuwata Keisuke, to architecture, hotel lobby art, and shop logos.

The second installment of the new compilation series "Chillout Breeze", "Sunset Chillout Breeze", will be released on September 25, 2024, with music selection and supervision by Toru Hashimoto, artwork by Jiro Fujita, and mastering by Calm, a top Japanese artist of jazz, chillout, and Balearic music who is highly acclaimed overseas. The vinyl LP, with attractive artwork and featuring 10 tracks carefully selected by Toru Hashimoto from the CD (17 tracks), will be released on October 30!

This is a wonderful lifestyle compilation of special comfortable music that will make you feel a pleasant breeze while chilling out at dusk, mainly selected masterpieces of cool & mellow groove, chill out balearica, surf x bossa x folky, lovers rock & dub, and jazzy & mellow beats!

Also included is a wonderful cover of Lonnie Liston Smith's mellow breeze masterpiece "Quiet Moments" newly recorded by DJ Mitsu the Beats, and a wonderful cover of Lucinda Sieger's twilight breeze masterpiece "Sunset Red" newly recorded by NOA NOA!
