自由でDIY精神に溢れた独創的なフェスティバルの真の姿とスピリッツに迫った話題のドキュメンタリー・フィルムがいよいよ日本上陸！
今年で開催10周年を迎えたオルタナティヴ・ミュージックの祭典、All Tomorrow's Partiesの初映像作品が遂にリリース！
「究極のミックステープ by サーストン・ムーア( ソニック・ユース)」と賞されるオルタナティヴ・ミュージックの祭典“All Tomorrow's Parties(ATP)”。
毎回1アーティスト/ グループがキュレーターとしてラインナップを選出するというユニークなスタイル、また田舎町の宿舎付施設を使用し、スポンサー等大手企業の介入をシャットアウトした既存のフェスティバルと一線を画すシステムはオーディエンスは元より数多くのアーティストから高い賞賛と信頼を得ているイベント。
今回リリースされる映像作品は、英インディ映画界の気鋭Warp Filmsが数年越しで完成したドキュメンタリー。 真の意味でDIYかつ自由なフェスティバルが造り出す至福の空間を長期に渡り撮影し、Sonic YouthやBattles、Portishead、Iggy & The Stoogesを始めとした多くのアーティストの貴重なライブ・フッテージはもちろん、バックサイドでのアーティスト達の姿や会場に足を運んでいるオーディエンス達の様子、更にはプロ・カメラのみではなくモバイルカメラ等で撮影された多くのオーディエンス・ショットも交え、様々な角度からAll Tomorrow's Partiesの魅力とそのスピリッツを捉え作品化しています。
