ストーリー
行方不明になった妹を探してクリスタル・レイクに向かう青年クレイ。仲間とともに湖畔の別荘にやって来たジェンナは、彼に協力して湖の周囲を探る。その時、ホッケーマスクをした大男が彼らの行動を秘かに監視していた…。
世界で最も有名なホラー・シリーズを衝撃のリメイク！
主演は、TVシリーズ『SUPERNATURAL スーパーナチュラル』で人気沸騰のイケメン俳優ジャレッド・パダレッキ、TVシリーズ『THE OC』のアマンダ・リゲッティ、『スカイハイ』のダニエル・パナベイカーという注目の新鋭スターたちが大挙出演している。
監督は、映画史に残るホラー映画『悪魔のいけにえ』のリメイクとして、旧作の不気味なムードを最大限に増幅させた『テキサス・チェーンソー』のマーカス・ニスペル。マイケル・ベイが発掘した注目の逸材で、もう一つの伝説的作品『13日の金曜日』（オリジナル版）を甦らせるという重責に抜擢された。
