Hideaki Tokunaga's latest album "VOCALIST 3" in which he covered female J-Pop artists songs recorded a million sales already, and the whole "Vocalist" series have now sold 3 million copies! The singer is now set to single-cut his original song "Dakishimete Ageru", a sentimental mid-tempo ballad coupled with a heart-warming love song "Hanataba".

That's what Tokunaga felt as he approached the production of the latest original track. Tokunaga is a vocalist who sings love and his new single is full of love indeed. Numerous collaborations and joint performances with other renown artists and reaching out to millions of people through CD and other media made him the singer that he is - a truly blessed and dedicated vocalist with 22 years of career, with his performance even more sparkling than ever.
Sensuous and yet clean-toned voice of Tokunaga is at its best when the singer sings his own original numbers. It's been a year and a half since he sang his original tune on the single "happiness". The latest one "Dakishimete Ageru" has been selected as the theme for a TBS TV drama "Sweet 10". The best vocalist can sing anything brilliantly, but sounds best when he sings his own songs...!
