ルー・リード・アーカイヴ・シリーズ第一弾『Words & Music May 1965』

今回リリースされる『Words & Music May 1965』は、ルー・リードが録音して50年近く未開封のまま残っていたもの。今回ルー・リードの生誕80周年を記念してリリース。

「I'm Waiting for the Man」、「Heroin」、「Pale Blue Eyes」など、ヴェルヴェット・アンダーグラウンドの代表的楽曲の初期録音収録。また、ルーリードの『ベルリン』収録の「Men of Good Fortune」の歌詞違いの初期ヴァージョン、ニコの『Chelsea Girl』収録の「Wrap Your Troubles in Dreams」のジョン・ケール・ヴァージョンも収録。

デラックスエディションは、45回転2枚組アナログレコードに7インチシングルレコード、CDが付属。7500枚の限定発売。
