累計部数550万部を突破した人気漫画『PandoraHearts』の原作者・望月 淳が贈る最新作『ヴァニタスの手記（カルテ）』。『鋼の錬金術師』『交響詩篇エウレカセブン』など、数々のハイクオリティアニメ制作で有名なボンズが本作を待望のTVアニメ化。2021年7月より1stシーズンが放送され、2022年1月からは2ndシーズンが放送された。
TVアニメ『ヴァニタスの手記』よりBlu-ray＆DVDが全8巻で登場。2021年10月27日より順次発売予定の各巻には「原作者・望月 淳 描き下ろし漫画」、オリジナルドラマ／キャラクターソングなどが収録された特典CDほか、数々の特典が封入される。
また、2022年6月発売予定の最終第8巻には「原作者・望月 淳 描き下ろし全巻収納BOX」の豪華封入特典も同梱となっている。

【イントロダクション】
これは、滅びゆく吸血鬼たちの物語。 人間と吸血鬼が存在する19世紀フランス。 吸血鬼の青年 ノエは、吸血鬼に呪いを振り撒くという魔導書“ヴァニタスの書”を探しにパリへ向かっていた。 途上の飛空船の中で、ノエはある事件に遭遇する。 その混乱の最中、ノエの前に現れたのは、吸血鬼の専門医を自称する人間 ヴァニタスだった。ヴァニタスの手には、ノエが探していた呪いの魔導書“ヴァニタスの書”があり…。 二人の出逢いにより、呪いと救いの吸血鬼譚が幕を開ける―【スタッフ】
