【ストーリー】 ひねくれジジイといじめられっ子の少年が、
最高の相棒になる!!
アルコールとギャンブルに溺れるちょい悪オヤジのヴィンセントは、ひょんなことからお隣に引っ越して来た、いじめられっ子オリヴァーの面倒を見ることになる。小学生相手に容赦なく毒舌を連発し、行きつけのバーや競馬場にも連れ歩き、ヴィンセントはオリヴァーに注文の仕方、オッズの計算方法、いじめっ子の鼻のへし折り方など、一見ろくでもないことを教え込んでいく。最初は最悪だと思っていたオリヴァーだが、ある日ヴィンセントが介護施設に立ち寄り、認知症の妻に愛おしげに接する様子を目の当たりにする。気難しい老人と気弱な少年の間にはいつしか奇妙な友情が芽生え、２人のささやかな冒険の日々が始まった―――。
