アフロ･ビートの提唱者であり、現代アフリカン･ミュージックの中心的存在として語り継がれる偉大なアーティスト フェラ･クティ。今回リリースとなる 『THE COMPLETE WORKS OF FELA ANIKULAPO KUTI』 は、60年代初めのクーラ・ロビトス期から遺作となった92年 『Underground System』 までその音楽的功績の全てを詰め込んだアルバム46作品を収録したCD26枚、そしてDVD1枚が付属されたコンプリート･ボックス･セット。ドキュメンタリーDVD 「A Slice of Fela」 では、ベルリン･ジャズ･フェスとグラストンベリーでのライブ･パフォーマンスも見ることができる。バイオグラフィや収録の全トラックの解説などをそれぞれ掲載した4冊のブックレット付き。☆付属DVDがPAL方式となりました。日本製のDVDプレイヤーでは視聴できませんのでご了承の上お求め下さいませ。
