坂本龍一 『1996』以来のピアノトリオ・アルバム発売
坂本龍一の楽曲を、ピアノ、ヴァイオリン、チェロのトリオ編成でリアレンジしセルフカヴァーしたアルバム『1996』以来となる、ピアノトリオ・アルバム『THREE』が発売。2011年秋にヨーロッパで復活したこのピアノ・トリオ。チェロにはオリジナルメンバーで坂本龍一の朋友であるジャキス・モレレンバウム、ヴァイオリンにはオーディションで採用した新しい才能、ジュディ・カンを起用。 本作は、新旧織り交ぜた選曲で観客を魅了したヨーロッパ・ツアー『Ryuichi Sakamoto Trio Tour 2011』直後にスタジオ録音された、完成度の高い1枚となっています。
