 1年ぶりにLusrica。オーガニックなクラブ・ラウンジは美麗！2ndアルバムから1年半ぶりの今作。全くブレる事のない美麗サウンド。Cradle Orchestraのような気持ちの良い弦楽器使いやDAISHI DANCEのようなビートとピアノのハーモニー、Calmのようなスピリチャルさをなど、徹底した美麗サウンドはオーガニックでもあり、クラブ･サウンドでもあり、ラウンジにもなりえる懐の広いもの。スタイルよりも美しさに軸を置いた確かなクオリティですね。Lusrica本人コメント 「今回の『Blue Pathway』のコンセプトは、「これまでの経路、水脈」という意味で『Blue Pathway』とアルバムのタイトルをつけました。 そして、今後はどういった音楽が生まれるかは自分自身でも分かりませんが、「現在」の自分の形を表現できた作品になったと思います」 プロフィールサウンドからアーティスト名をイメージできるように、その響きだけで「Lusrica」という名義を名乗りようになる。影響を受けたアーティストには、Antonio Carlos Jobin、Eric Clapton、Marianne Faithful、ミッキー吉野などを挙げるあたりも、Lusricaの奥深き音楽趣向が伺える。2008年のデビュー作『Estrelas Lustrando』は、i-tunesなどのチャートで1位を獲得し、i-tunesが選出する2008年”エレクトロニック部門ベスト･ジャパニーズ・アルバム”の10枚にも挙げられるという快挙も果たした。2009年に『Marvelous Notes』は、前作から繋がる、Lusrica独自のサウンドを推し進めた究極のサウンドスケープを見事に描き出し、各方面から高い評価を得る。そして、「新たな始まり」をコンセプトにし、初となるミニ･アルバム『Lightsin the Empire』で2010年の幕開けを果たし、11月、前作から1年半となる最新作『Blue Pathway』を完成させた。
