北欧のダウンテンポ職人PEDER

 北欧から深遠なるダウンテンポ・サウンド90年代からTHE PRUNES(MO’ WAX/GRAND ROYAL/TRI-EIGHT)、PELDING(JAZZ-FUDGE)名義で数々の名門ダウンテンポヒップホップをクリエイト、DJ KRUSHやBEASTIE BOYS等のリミックスも手掛け現在はソロ活動で映画音楽なども手掛けるペダーがUBIQUITYからのファーストに続いてセカンドアルバムをリリース！！北欧デンマークの新興レーベル FAKE DIAMONDから90年代に人気を博したダウンテンポヒップホップシーン伝説のグループ、THE PRUNESのメンバー、ペダーのソロアルバムが登場！ビースティー・ボーイズの「Sure Shot」や「Root Down」やDJ KRUSH「MEISO」の彼等によるリミックスは今日でもアブストラクト／アングラヒップホップの傑作トラックとして人気が高く、2005年には日本のレーベルTRI-EIGHTから彼等の作品を集めたコンピレーション作品「Odd Jobs - A Decade Of Work(94-04)」もリリースされている。ソロ活動としては2007年にUSの名門UBIQUITYからデビューアルバム「And He Just Pointed To The Sky...」をリリース、同時にデンマーク国内の映画音楽、CM、TVの製作も数多く行っている。今回は地元デンマークの新興レーベルFAKE DIAMOND からのリリースとなるセカンドアルバムはゴンザレスとポーティスヘッドがセッションを行った様なシネマティックでジャジーなダウンビートを展開、イマジネーションの広がるサウンドとなっている。
