 実はファースト フルアルバムです！アーティストであり、映像作家でもあるThomas Campbellが目をかけた新進気鋭のツインズ・アーティストがThe Mattson 2。「Introducing」やRay Barbeeと3人でリリースしたRay Barbee Meets The Mattson 2 / Ray Barbee Meets The Mattson 2 ＋を通過してきた今作は実はファースト・フルアルバム。 今作もMattson 2らしい作風。Tommy Guerrero的な西海岸の乾いた空気に独自のジャズ・テイストを組み合わせ、インプロゼーションを重視したような展開は健在。そして、今作ではホーンとストリングスも大胆にフィーチャーしており、以前の作品よりも情熱的かつエモーショナルな仕上がりが良い！ 勿論、盟友Ray Barbeeはギターで2曲、Tommy Guerreroもエレクトリック・ベースで3曲、マルチ･パーカッション奏者のBrian Archinalも参加と何ともサウンドに相応しい豪華ゲストを押さえている点も注目です。 多くを語る必要も無く、安定したクオリティ！ Tommy Guerreroを好む方は間違いなし！！ プロフィールモッズスーツに身を包んだ、長身でブロンドヘアの双子ユニット。 ギターのジャレット、ドラムのジョナサンによるThe Mattson 2は、Bonnie Prince、BillyのWill OldhamやTommy Guerreroなどをリリースしてきたサンタクルーズを拠点に活動するgalaxiaに所属している。そして、Tommy GuerreroやMoney Markなどとのコラボレーションも果たしてきており、「Introducing」やRay Barbeeとの共作「Ray Barbee Meets The Mattson 2 ＋」を経て、今作「Feeling Hands」をリリース。
