 「安眠」と「覚醒」札幌在住4人組バンド、sleepy.ab彼らのアコースティックセット。その名もsleepy.ac 今年の6月、シングル『君と背景』発売近辺からスタートしたsleepy.ac名義でのツアー。 ツアー中から、その評判はすこぶる良く、話題になっていたが、これほどまでだったとは！！！ そのツアーのハイライト、彼らの地元、札幌Kitara小ホールでのライブの模様を収録したCDが発売された！ このLIVEは、 1st violin : 2名 2nd violin : 2名 Viola : 2名 Cello : 2名 というストリングスを招いて行われた。 もともと透明感のある彼らのサウンドではあるが、この生ストリングスと融合した瞬間、荘厳な雰囲気さえも醸し出し、彼らのサウンドの一つの完成形を見たかのような素晴らしい作品になっている。 このCDの帯には「安眠導入盤」なる文字が刻印されている。 なるほど、この心地良さは眠りを誘う程のものかもしれない。 しかし 僕がこのCDを初めて聴いた時。 あまりの内容の素晴らしさに「覚醒」してしまった。 「安眠」と「覚醒」 相反するこの2語は、意外と紙一重なのかもしれない。 あなたは、このCDを聴いて何を感じるだろうか？
