国内サッカーゲームの大定番『ワールドサッカーウイニングイレブン』シリーズ最新作『ワールドサッカーウイニングイレブン 2011』が遂に2010年10月28日に発売！（※PSP/Wii/PS2は2010年11月18日発売）
　作品ごとに進化し続ける本シリーズですが、今作では大幅な変更が加えられ、まったく新しいサッカーゲームとして進化しました。また、選手の動きもシリーズ最大規模となる1000種類以上を追加。さらに、南米クラブ選手権｢コパ・サンタンデール・リベルタドーレス｣を世界初のゲーム化！

新たなディフェンス操作：相手選手との距離を調整可能となり、相手の攻撃を遅らせる“ディレイ”が実現。
狙って打てる無回転シュート：シンプルな操作で｢無回転シュート｣を打つことが可能。
華麗な連続フェイント：フェイント操作を右スティックに集約。連続技も簡単に繰り出せる。
360度全方向へのパス：選手の足元にパワーゲージを表示。方向・強弱が自由に。
細かいタッチで“かわす”ドリブル：方向レバーを繊細に操作することで細かなボールタッチが可能に。
ゲームプラン一新：画面デザインを一新し、選手交代、戦術変更が簡単に。

好きな選手を集めて理想のクラブ作りを目指す｢マスターリーグ｣が、ついにオンラインに対応。勝利によって手に入るポイントは、選手獲得資金に直結。選手の移籍金は、オンライン上の人気によって常に変動するため、獲得・売却や若手選手発掘にも、これまでにない緊張感や興奮がもたらされる。
※｢マスターリーグ｣と｢マスターリーグ・オンライン｣は連動しません。

南米クラブ選手権｢コパ・サンタンデール・リベルタドーレス｣を世界で初めてゲーム化。2010シーズンに同大会に出場した40チームも、すべて実名で収録。また、バイエルン・ミュンヘンやブレーメンなどを新たに収録し、ヨーロッパのクラブチームもさらに充実。

11月18日に発売されるPSP版『ワールドサッカーウイニングイレブン 2011』では、初となるアドホックでの4人同時プレイを遂に実現。｢4人vsコンピュータ｣はもちろん、｢2人vs2人｣｢1人vs3人｣での対戦も可能。さらに、4人協力プレイで大会を勝ち抜きながら自分の選手を育てることができる｢レジェンズトーナメント｣も新搭載。もちろん、今作も実況音声を収録！
