German reed player Wolfgang Fuchs has performed with many of the first-generation free improvisers, including Tony Oxley, Peter Brotzmann, Peter Kowald, Cecil Taylor and others. Joining him on this CD are five San Francisco-based musicians: John Shiurba (guitar), the late Matthew Sperry (bass), Tim Perkis (electronics), Tom Djll (Trumpet) and Gino Robair (drums). Sperry and Robair played with Tom Waits on Blood Money And Alice, and the group has also performed frequently with Anthony Braxton. This CD is for fans of free Jazz, free improvisation and noise music.
