Product Description

The Wipers are often referred to as Portland's first punk band. But calling the band 'punk' totally ignores and underestimates what Greg Sage and crew were doing from 1997 onward. Acknowledged by many over the years (including Nirvana's Kurt Cobain who curated a tribute album to the Wipers), the bands albums have been curiously unobtainable by many. The Wipers Box Set collects the first three albums (and a few obscurities) at a more-than-reasonable price for a 51 song 3 CD Set.

このアルバムは騙されたつもりで買うと良いと思います。 個人的にはDISC2の2曲目”Youth of America ”はWipersの中で10分超えする曲でありながら最高の曲だと思います。 こんな曲が1980年代初頭に作られていたなんて脱帽します。 当時のポストパンクとは印象がことなるバンド”Wipers”。 素直に格好良いと思いました。
