I'll Remember

Will Bradley and ex Glenn Miller drummer Ray McKinley formed a big band in 1939 and they became known for their sweet dance music and latterly boogie woogie songs with which they had great success. Amongst their hits were Beat Me Daddy Eight to a Bar; Scrub Me Mama WithA Boogie Beat andDown the Road a Piece all of which were in the top ten Billboard Music Chart during the late 1940s. The rare recordings on this compact disc come from the late 1950s when Will was recording with his Jazz Octeta talented outfit which also included Billy Butterfield on trumpet. After a successful music career working with amongst many others Ray Noble, Glenn Miller and Freddy Rich he finally died on the 18th of July 1989 leaving a legacy of outstanding music.
