エイドリアン・ヴァンデバーグ(g)、ヴィヴィアン・キャンベル(g)、ルディ・サーゾ(b)、トミー・アルドリッチ(ds)という強力なメンバーを迎えて（ジョン・サイクスは製作途中で解雇されている）1987年に発表されたホワイトスネイクの大ヒット作『1987』 (サーペンス・アルバス〜白蛇の紋章〜)”のデラックス・エディション2010年版。

収録内容は2007年に発売された『1987: 20th Anniversary Collector's Edition』と同じで本編となるCDには、オリジナル音源に加えて、2006年末に発売されたライヴ･アルバム『Live In The Shadow Of The Blues』からの音源をボーナス･トラックとして追加収録。ボーナスDVDにはアルバム収録曲のヴィデオ･クリップ＋大ヒット映像作品『Live In The Still Of The Night』からの映像を収録。

2007年に発売された『1987: 20th Anniversary Collector's Edition』はボーナスDVDがPAL方式だった為、国内DVDプレイヤーでは再生出来ませんでしたが、今回のボーナスDVDはコードフリーですので国内DVDプレイヤーで再生可能です。
