Learn To LoveもSentimental Journey も円熟期のW・ミューラーの演奏で、楽団編成ともに大変充実している。 Sentimental Journeyは、彼の演奏の中でも、特にムーディな幻想的な雰囲気でかつてのR・サントス時代の「白銀のストリングス(日本訳)」のムードを再現しているし、当時の選曲からもピックアップしている。「恋の気分で」「月光のセレナーデ」「センチメンタル・ジャーニー(ホリディ・イン・アメリカ)」など・・・当時はモノーラル録音だったが、今回のアルバムでは、勿論ステレオで、アレンジもすばらしい。 Learn To Loveは、発売当時のヒットチューンを、弦も駆使しながら、どの曲も、歯切れのよいきびきびした完成度の高い演奏。 このCDは、W.ミューラー楽団の最高の2LPカップルCDとして録音、演奏ともに最高です。
