13 Crows

13 Crows is the third CD from Well Strung in the last 5 years and is loaded with 16 original songs plus their take on an old time fiddle tune. Four of the five members of the band contributed to writing the songs which give the CD a lot of different textures. Call it Americana, Bluegrass or Folk whatever, it's handmade original music crafted with passion, humor and wit. All the tracks were recorded with everyone in the same room feeding off of each others energy to get that live upbeat feel. The song topics cover a lot of ground dealing with environmental issues, love, family, hate, broken promises, broken homes, hope, death and inspiration. Well Strung is based out of Slippery Rock, Pa and is comprised of; Dennis Morton on Fiddle and Harmony Vocals, Jeff Scheller on Bass and Lead Vocal, Don Fiedler on Guitar, Mandolin, Lead Vocal and Harmony Vocals, Kevin Ondriezek on Mandolin, Guitar, Lead Vocal and Harmony Vocals, Tom St. John on Banjo, Lead Vocal and Harmony Vocals.
