ロックの発展や普及に大きく寄与したアーティストや関係者を讃えて記録や記念品を展示する“ロックの殿堂”。
毎年新たに表彰者を選び出し“殿堂入り”という式典が現在に至るまで続けられてきた。
2009年、マディソン・スクエア・ガーデンで2日間にわたって行われた“25周年記念コンサート”は、ロック史に名を刻む多数の殿堂入りアーティストが出演、競演した、伝説のライブ。
「Legend Side 黄金のロック伝説編」には、サイモン＆ガーファンクル、スティーヴィー・ワンダー、クロスビー、スティルス＆ナッシュなど、カントリからフォーク、R＆Bまでの大御所アーティストのライブを収録。
「Explosion Side 白熱のロック・スピリッツ編」にはメタリカ、U2、ジェフ・ベック、ブルース・スプリングスティーンなど、ハードロックな大御所アーティストのライブを収録！
