チェコのアヴァンロック/トラッド/パンクバンドの2003年作、7th。原語題Ryb＆#237; tuk。東欧に広く分布するジプシーたちの音楽や、その他土着系の伝統音楽の影響色濃いメロディーは西欧アメリカのそれとは全く違った響きを持っていて、チェコ語の響き共々、馴染みのない人々の耳には新鮮に響きます。そんなメロディーをバイオリンやらオーボエやらでチンドンに味付けしてパンクのエネルギーで放出するへんてこりんで面白く不気味でそんでもって熱い音楽です。アヴァンギャルドな味付けは、東欧圏ということでかのプログレ時代から受け継いだ血筋なのだろうけど、小難しくならないのは素っ頓狂でぶっきらぼうなボーカルとパンクのおかげでしょう。パンク好きな人もプログレ好きな人もワールドミュージック好きな人もまとめてどうぞ。いいバンドです。
