2013 marked the 40th anniversary of Uli's involvement with the Scorpions and he dedicated the year to performing his personal favorites Scorpions classic songs which were recorded and filmed live. The first volume (audio CD) is a result of revisiting the same hall that The Scorpions used to rehearse in from 1973-1978! It is a historic recording of revisiting ULI's past and bringing it to the present.

自作でない曲も取り上げているのが良い。 メンバーは Uli Jon Roth(g,vo) Nathan James (vo) David Klosinski (g) Niklas Turmann (g,vo) Corvin Bahn (key,vo) Ule W. Ritgen (ba) Jamie Little (dr) Liv Vandall (vo on ”Pictured Life”) アレンジは基本オリジナルのままだが、何と言っても当時ストラトだったウリが、あの32フレット、スカイ・ギターで、また現在の風格で弾き直しているのが聴き所。 ヴォーカルはウリも数曲で取っているが、メインはネイサン・ジェームズという人で、敢えてクラウス・マイネとは違うタイプを選んだというが、これはなかなかの実力者。 声のトーンがウリに近く、ウリがめちゃくちゃ上手くなった様な感じなので、全体にウリ色が強まっている印象もある。 ちなみに録音は、先ずライヴで行われたが、納得出来ない仕上がりだったため、無観客でライヴ録音し直したものにオーヴァーダブなどの修正を加えたという事だ。 したがって聴いた感じはスタジオ録音と変わりない。 スコーピオンズならアメリカでブレイクする前のウリ期だというファンには最高のアルバム。
